Caroline joined Morgan Keegan in April of 2007 as part of the Private Funds Group and has been involved in every aspect of investing and managing the Morgan Keegan Strategic Fund as well as managing the Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Fund. Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, Ms. Ducas served as Finova Capital Corporation’s Vice President/Equity Manager responsible for overseeing the private equity holdings of the company. Ms. Ducas was promoted to this position after serving in both Portfolio and Investment Management positions with Finova Mezzanine Capital (formerly Sirrom Capital.) Prior to her six years at Finova/Sirrom, Ms. Ducas served for three years as Vice President/Marketing and Director/Business Operations for a privately-held, multi-media and communications company. Ms. Ducas has also worked in Corporate Finance for a regional investment bank (J.C. Bradford & Co.) and in Corporate Banking for First Union National Bank. Ms. Ducas received her MBA from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and her BA from Vanderbilt University.
Meredith joined Tenth Street in 2007. In addition to managing the firm’s accounting and financial reporting, she plays a lead role in the operation of Tenth Street Financial Opportunity Fund I, LP in its pursuit of discounted senior debt. Ms. Duke is also involved in portfolio monitoring for the Tenth Street mezzanine debt funds. Prior to joining Tenth Street she worked as an assistant branch manager for Wells Fargo Financial. Ms. Duke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2004.
